How ShinyChiefs partnered with memberr to turn first-time buyers into lifelong members - with a tiered cashback club that rewards passion, not just purchases.

Together with memberr, ShinyChiefs built a cashback club designed for one of the most engaged customer bases in DACH: car care enthusiasts who don't just buy products - they geek out over them.
The result is a system that:

A club, not a points game
Membership is free. It starts the moment a customer places their first order.
From there, customers move through four tiers based on their annual spend:
- Beginner - 5% cashback per order
- Detailer (from 100€) - 6% cashback + exclusive deals & early access
- Aufbereiter (from 200€) - 7% cashback + a free product on the next order, monthly giveaways
- Chief (from 500€) - 10% cashback + 2 free products, always free shipping, exclusive ambassador opportunities
On top of that, every member gets the same baseline:
- 5€ on their birthday
- up to 4€ for product reviews
- 10€ for every friend they refer
No points. No conversion tables. Just real money back - in a currency every customer instantly understands.
A customer account that does the talking
Every customer logs into the same place and sees exactly where they stand:
- their current tier and when it's renewed
- available and pending cashback
- their personal referral link (10€ for the friend, 10€ for them)
- a birthday field that unlocks a 5€ gift each year
It's the loyalty program as a single, honest dashboard - instead of a marketing campaign hidden in a footer.
Free products as a reward for staying
The higher tiers don't just earn more cashback. They unlock products.
- Aufbereiter members pick 1 free product on every order above 70€
- Chief members pick 2
Customers select their free products directly in the cart - no codes, no forms, no "claim now" emails. The reward lives where the purchase happens.
