Install the memberr app#

To get started with memberr, you need to install the memberr Store Credit app in your store. If you haven't already, you can install the app from the Shopify App Store. Simply click the button below to install the app in your store.

Setup store credit for your shop#

After installing the app, you need to complete the setup process by going through all steps presented to you after installing the app in your store.

Select a way for your customer to redeem store credit#

There a several ways you can handle store credit redemption in your shop. The following list ranks the different ways from simple (1-Click) to completely custom:

1. Automatically apply store credit at checkout
2. Use the memberr store credit widget
3. Integrating a custom Store Credit checkbox in your Cart and/or at Checkout

1. Automatically apply store credit at checkout#

This option is the quickest and easiest way to get up and running with a memberr store credit program. You simply have to activate the store credit program either during the onboarding step or in the cashback menu under settings.

2. Using the memberr store credit widget (recommended)#

The memberr store credit widget displays a small widget to your customers when the visit the store. When users are signed in they can use it to view their current store credit balance and select the amount of store credit they want to apply to their next purchase. To activate the memberr store credit widget simply open your theme and activate the memberr widget from the left hand sidebar.

3. Integrating a custom Store Credit checkbox in your Cart and/or at Checkout#

To integrate directly into a custom checkout cart you need to manually add the necessary code into your shop theme. Below there is in example on how this might look. If you have troubles implementing this please do not hesitate to contact our support.
